About

Sue Chrestensen and I started Chrestensen Burghout Designs (www.chrestensenburghoutdesigns.com) back in 2004 after our first collaborations on designs. We shared a common interest in design and a desire to move away from the traditional.

Although sometimes hindered by our geographical challenges, with Sue residing in California (USA) and myself in Ontario (Canada), we do manage to get together for much of the year and work on projects together.

We have been fortunate to have been published in magazines such as Woodworking for Women, Creative Woodworking and Crafts,  Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts and Canadian Woodworking.  Some may be familiar with our patterns and designs from those  magazines, others may have shared in conversations with us on various forums.
